GQGA was translated into Sinhala nearly 20 years ago. But more questions and answers have been added to the book since then so the existing translation has been out of date for many years. Recently several people, primarily Ven B. Piyaratana of Srilanka Vidyalaya in Colombo, have worked diligently at translating the extra parts but for one reason or another this met with limited success. In November Ven. Anoma, visiting Singapore from Sri Lanka and staying at the Bodhiraja Buddhist Centre, offered to complete the translation, make a few additions and corrections and then carefully check the whole manuscript. Now the new updated version is complete. We extend a big thanks to Ven. Piyaratana and Ven Anoma. The picture is of Ven.
