altOn the 22nd and 23rd of February Venerable Sayadej distributed copies of the Laotian translation of GQGA to students of Budviseth College and Com Centre College, both in Vientiane. He has very kindly sent us these photos.

Romanian GQGA

Ciprian Salagean of Asociatia Buddhista Theravada Din Romania has contacted us to inform us that the Romanian translation of GQGA has just been published. We express our thanks to Dan Ignat who did the translation. The book has also been posted in the internet and been downloaded, so far, 200 times. Let’s hope that it helps Romanians develop a better understanding of the Dhamma.

We have just received news that 4,000 copies of GQGA have been published in October 2011 by the Mahabodhi Diyun in Arunachal Pradesh, India’s extreme north-east state that borders on Tibet. We thank Dhamma Aid Asia for arranging this and Mr. Lim Kim Heng for covering the costs of the printing. Dhamma Aid Asia Reprint

Yu Ban from Dhamma Aid Asia informs us that they have printed 6000 copies of GQGA in Chinese and have distributed it amongst Theravadin communities in Yunnan in Southern China. In November 2011 Richmond Tan arranged for the reprinting of 2000 copies of the Burmese translation of GQGA to be distributed in Burma and amongst Burmese workers in Singapore . Copies were sent to all the main Burmese temples and Buddhist societies and given to Burmese students at the universities and polytechnics. BMS reprint

In July 2011 the Buddhist Missionary Society of Malaysia reprinted 3000 copies of GQGA. They chose to reprint the handsomely designed edition of the book done some years ago done by Suki Hotu. A big thanks for everyone involved.
